And it won!

I cannot tell you how pleased I have been this past week - we found out that all of the effort photographing Lochside House in the freezing cold Scottish winter has helped its cause. This house has not only won a RIAS and RIBA National Award, but now has been crowned as House of the Year 2018 by the fabulous Kevin McCloud on Channel 4's Grand Designs. 

Hats off to architects Haysom Ward Miller, Spey Build, the vision of Michele the owner and all involved. The write ups and TV show say it all but I cannot quite explain the sense of magic this place holds. I've always adored the quality of light in the winter months and this is proof that photography in the colder seasons has its merits, it just neeeds careful planning.
